Jake Paul has revealed that Francis Ngannou will make a significant sum when he faces Tyson Fury.
The former UFC heavyweight champion and the WBC heavyweight champion will face each other on October 28th, 2023, in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
It will be Ngannou’s boxing debut following his recent deal with the PFL, giving him that right.
Prior to this, Ngannou had reportedly been offered an approximate $8 million to fight Jon Jones. However, talks broke down as Ngannou left the UFC.
And yet, it appears that the decision could be justified based on Paul’s prediction of the purse. After all, Paul has also signed a deal with the PFL to compete in the ‘Super Fight’ division.
To all the twitter geniuses: 8 figures = $10,000,000+ and Francis deserves every bit of it. https://t.co/QWphbRNIrl

Paul is well aware of the financial incentives that can emerge with mega events. His bout with Tommy Fury secured the latter an approximate $5 million, the highest of his career.
Meanwhile, the event also sold over a reported 500,000 pay-per-views. And if Fury vs. Ngannou does anywhere close to those numbers, then the two fighters can expect a significant sum.

Good for @francis_ngannou having the courage and principle to stand up for himself. Wish more fighters would do this.
