Nieky Holzken Added to GLORY: Collision

One of the top kickboxers on the planet, GLORY welterweight champion Nieky Holzken has now been added to the promotion’s biggest event ever. Holzken will fight on GLORY: Collision, the December event headlined by a heavyweight super-fight between Rico Verhoeven and Badr Hari.

GLORY announced today that Holzken will defend his welterweight title against Cedric Doumbe at the event. GLORY: Collision will take place in Oberhausen, Germany on Dec. 10.

Holzken fought on Oct. 21 at GLORY: Denver, where he successfully defended his welterweight title against Murthel Groenhart in the third fight between the two.

Doumbe last fought in March, where he too defeated Groenhart by unanimous decision. He has a GLORY record of 1-1.

GLORY: Collision will be broadcasted on digital pay-per-view through UFC.TV, the promotion announced today at their Collision press conference in the Netherlands. Holzken was present during the press conference.
