Niko Price Vs. Alex Oliveira Booked For October UFC Fight Night

Fans might be able to witness a “Performance of the Night” fight in October, all thanks to Niko Price and Alex Oliveira.

Price (14-5-0-2) will take on Oliveira (22-10-1-2) at UFC Fight Night 193. This event will be held on October 2 in UFC Apex, Las Vegas.

Price – who’s scored four “Performance of the Night” awards –- is experiencing a victory drought, recently losing in his last three fights against Michel Pereira, Vicente Luque and a majority draw against Donald Cerrone, which turned to a No Contest.

Against Pereira, his rival was dominating but Price persisted and won the last round. It was not enough for a comeback.

The last time he won in the UFC against James Vick via KO (kick) in the first round.

Oliveira is 2-2 in his last four fights. His record includes 22 victories and ten defeats. Most of his achievements are via KO and defeats via submissions.

His six losses are against powerful Brazilian jiu-jutsu fighters like Donald Cerrone, Gilbert Burns and Shavkat Rakhmonov.

The last time he was in the octagon was at UFC 261. He faced Randy Brown and was defeated in the first round via submission Rear-Naked Choke.

The headliner of the October Fight Night will be a Brazilian light heavyweight clash between Thiago Santos and Johnny Walker. Kevin Holland, who earned five victories in a row in the previous year, and lost two battles in 2021, will be back against Kyle Bauhaus in the card.
