Noche UFC And WWE Royal Rumble Heading To Arizona

Two prominent TKO Group shows have landed in Arizona.

The action begins at the Desert Diamond Arena in Glendale, which will host UFC Noche in September, before continuing into 2027 with WWE Royal Rumble at State Farm Stadium in February.

UFC Fight Night: Rodriguez vs. Silva is little more than five weeks away, and features a women’s flyweight fight between Manon Fiorot and Alexa Grasso. Other bouts include Brandon Moreno vs Joseph Morales also at flyweight, David Martinez against Dan Ige at bantamweight, and a heavyweight bout between Waldo Cortes-Acosta and Curtis Blaydes. Yair Rodriguez fights Jean Silva in the main event.

WWE is yet to confirm entrants into next year’s Royal Rumble but separate matches pit 30 men and 30 women against one another, entering the ring at 90-second to two-minute intervals, with participants eliminated if they are thrown over the top rope and both feet touch the floor beyond the ring. Winners from each men’s and women’s event proceed to a championship match opportunity at WrestleMania 43.

Previous Royal Rumble winners include ‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin, John Cena, and recently retired Brock Lesnar. Reigning champions are Jey Uso and Charlotte Flair.

UFC Noche and WWE Royal Rumble are not the only TKO events taking place in Glendale as the PBR World Finals heads to the Desert Diamond Arena in May, 2027.

These events are the first in a three-year agreement bringing TKO’s sports properties, WWE, UFC, Zuffa Boxing and PBR to Arizona for several events in the State, announced Tuesday by TKO Group and Arizona Sports & Events Alliance. The events so far utilize the Desert Diamond Arena and State Farm Stadium, with organizers expecting “hundreds of thousands of visitors” through the gate.
