Nunes, Ansaroff Expecting Their First Child Together

The UFC’s ultimate power couple had some big news to start off the weekend. Amanda Nunes and Nina Ansaroff announced they will be having a baby together. Ansaroff will be carrying the child.

Ansaroff (10-6), ranked fifth in the UFC’s strawweight rankings ending up telling TMZ in December that she will be training and staying in shape during the process. She is hoping to return to the octagon following the pregnancy.

“I wanna tell every single person on this planet that…. Raegan Ann Nunes will be here mid September! I cannot wait to see her. Gente deixa eu dividir minha felicidade com vocês contando os dias para setembro. Raegan Ann Nunes.”

Nunes (19-4) is the current UFC Bantamweight and Featherweight Champion. Her last fight was a unanimous decision win against Germaine de Randamie at UFC 245, where she defended the 135-pound belt. It is being reported that she will be defending her 145-pound title against Felicia Spencer at UFC 250 in May.

Ansaroff lost her previous bout to Tatiana Suarez at UFC 238 in 2019. The loss ended a four-fight win streak that included wins over the likes of Angela Hill and Claudia Gadelha.

The two have been together since about 2012 and became engaged in 2018. The expected due date is sometime in September.
