Officials Set For Horn-Crawford; Card Still Not Official

Even with no tickets on sale, nor a card officially announced, the Nevada State Athletic Commission confirmed the officials for the Jeff Horn-Terence Crawford welterweight title fight alleged for April 14th.

The event reported by Boxing Scene is set to take place at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas, has two fights remaining to be announced, as an announcement is said to be imminent, per Boxing Scene.

Prior to Manny Pacquiao pulling out to try and lock down a fight with Lucas Matthysse on June 24th in Malaysia, the Filipino star was alleged to be fighting Mike Alvarado, and the linchpin to ESPN airing the fight on Pay-Per-View.

Now, with no Pacquiao, and just about a month till fight night, it seems that it will just be on ESPN’s traditional platform.

During their monthly meeting, the NSAC confirmed that Ignatius Missailidis of Australia, has been assigned to judge the 12-round,147-pound title bout between Horn and the WBO welterweight champion, Crawford, the mandatory challenger for his title. The other two judges will be Nevada’s Burt Clements and Italy’s Guido Cavalleri.

Nevada’s Tony Weeks as the referee for Horn-Crawford by the commission headed by Bob Bennett.
