Oleksandr Usyk Has His Say On Tyson Fury Vs. Deontay Wilder III

Oleksandr Usyk has his eyes on the WBC strap after outboxing Anthony Joshua and winning the WBO, WBA, IBF and IBO titles.

The Ukrainian star wants to fight the winner of the Tyson Fury versus Deontay Wilder trilogy.

“I will definitely watch,” Usyk told DAZN. “I don’t think too much about who wins. It will be a good fight. I will fight with whoever holds the last belt. I don’t care if it is Wilder or Fury.”

The heavyweights will clash on October 9 for the third time at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. Fury is defending his WBC heavyweight title for the first time against the same fighter he took it from in 2020.

Usyk, who himself was the underdog entering his title fight against Joshua, doesn’t want people to write off Wilder just yet.

“Don’t write Deontay Wilder off since he always has the knockout punch. I will watch it for sure and I am curious who wins,” he said.

When asked about who the favorite fighter in the fight is, Usyk avoided predicting the winner.

“The only prediction I give you is that I’ll have a fantastic dinner tonight,” the champ continued.
