Following a successful North American debut last year, ONE Championship has announced two more events to take place in the States in 2024.
This past May in Broomfield, Colorado, the leader in Asian MMA executed their first event on American soil, ONE Fight Night 10 on Prime Video. The card was a massive success, and gained the company some much-needed Western notoriety as Demetrious Johnson retained his 135-pound title over Adriano Moraes in their high level main event trilogy bout.

Now, ONE has announced their return to North America in an effort to create a snowball effect using the momentum of their event last year in Colorado. ONE: Fight Night 26 will be the first of the pair of events scheduled in the states in 2024 and will take place at the Ball Arena in Denver. Following, ONE: Fight Night 28 will go down on November 8th at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta. Both events will be available on Amazon Prime Video for the North American viewers.
“We’re thrilled to return to the U.S. to showcase the greatest world champion martial artists in the country’s best cities and sports arenas,” ONE CEO Chatri Sityodtong said in a press release. “America remains a high-priority market for us as we continue our global expansion, and we can’t wait to get back on-ground to entertain our passionate fanbase in the region with quarterly U.S. events in September 2024 and beyond.”
While no bouts have been announced for these newly scheduled events, the fight world is buzzing with anticipation of things to come in 2024.
ONE Championship has cultivated a massive fan base in Asia, and to a certain degree that fan base has stretched into other continents. But, to continue growing at the rate that they are, more events in North America are certainly needed to bolster their following. This strategy could add a considerable amount of volume to the number of high quality events available to the worldwide MMA community.
