One Championship Friday Fights 18: Pongsiri PK Saenchai Beats Tyson Harrison Via A Unanimous Decision

ONE Friday Fights 18 took center stage at the prestigious Lumpinee Boxing Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand, on May 26th, 2023.

The electrifying main event brought together two formidable warriors, Tyson Harrison from Australia and Thailand’s very own Pongsiri PK Saenchai.

From the first bell to the final moments, both fighters unleashed a barrage of strikes, including elbows, knees, and an array of attacks showcasing their heart.

Each fighter pushed each other to their limits, but Pongsiri’s unwavering resilience ultimately secured him the victory via a unanimous decision.

As a two-time Lumpinee Muay Thai World Champion, Pongsiri showcased his exceptional skills and left the ring with an astonishing record of 158-37-11, solidifying his status as a true Muay Thai legend.

In addition, Serbian powerhouse Milana Bjelogric faced off against the reigning ONE Women’s Strawweight Muay Thai World Champion, Smilla Sundell.

Despite Bjelogric’s best efforts, Sundell’s impressive fighting skills and diverse striking arsenal proved too much to handle.

The debutant showcased her precision and power, dominating the fight and securing a well-deserved unanimous decision victory.

Another young star who lit up the event was 16-year-old Malaysian-American dynamo Johan Ghazali. He fearlessly engaged in a flyweight Muay Thai battle against Tai Sor Jor Piek Uthai.

The fight was a thrilling back-and-forth affair, but it was Ghazali who stole the show with a thunderous right hand that ended the contest at the 1:37 mark of the third round.

Ghazali’s victory showcased his immense talent and marked him as a rising star.
