@OneChampionship’s ONE Friday Fights 21 came live from the Lumpinee Boxing Stadium, Bangkok, Thailand, for another action-packed event.
Kongsuk Fairtex, a two-time Lumpinee Boxing Stadium Muay Thai World Champion, made his debut in ONE Championship’s main event against Paidang Kiatsongrit.
The latter was in good form, having won on his debut. In chief support, Mongkolkaew Sor Sommai took on Sonrak Sit Por Jor Wor in a flyweight match-up.
Main Event Result
Kongsuk beat Kiatsongrit at the Lumpinee Boxing Stadium with an outstanding performance to claim a unanimous-decision win.
Kongsuk used a combination of punches and kicks to overwhelm Paidang from the beginning of the fight.
It was much the same in the next round, as Kongsuk threw roundhouse kicks to back up Paidang .
And the onslaught continued as Kongsuk used his knees to attack Paidang in the clinch as the latter tired.
While Paidang tried to fight back, Kongsuk was too aggressive and accurate, as he extended his winning streak to nine in a row.
Co-Main Event
Mongkolkaew Sor Sommai made an amazing comeback after being knocked down early in the fight against Sonrak Sit Por Jor Wor.
Sonrak delivered a powerful left hand that sent Mongkolkaew to the canvas in the first round, but Mongkolkaew used this setback to fuel his impressive recovery.
He then finished Sonrak with punishing knees in the final round, securing the win in just 1 minute and 40 seconds to extend his record to 151-39-2.
