One Championship ONE Friday Fights 22: Arjan Bhullar Vs. Anatoly Malykhin Preview And Watch Info

@ONEChampionship returns for its ONE Friday Fights 22 event on June 23rd, 2023, from the Lumpinee Boxing Stadium, Thailand, with two title fights.

ONE Heavyweight World Champion Arjan Bhullar and interim heavyweight world champion Anatoly Malykhin will face off in the main event. This title unification match will determine the undisputed heavyweight champion.

Their bout had been called off on numerous occasions, so the fact that it is going ahead now has stoked up the fighting talk between the pair.

“Let him bark. We’ll see what kind of bite he has. It’s easy to bark, and it’s easy to bite when no one is fighting you back.

“I’m not like anything else he’s faced. I’m going to run through him. I truly do believe that. I don’t see this going any other way,” Bhullar

“He has no chance at all. I’ll just knock him out. He’ll last until the second round at the most. There is no chance for him to last for five rounds,” Malykhin

Meanwhile, there will also be a ONE Interim Strawweight Muay Thai World Title showdown as Sam-A Gaiyanghadao takes on Prajanchai PK Saenchai.

In their first encounter all the way back in 2021, Prajanchai defeated Sam-A to win the belt. Prajanchai lost the belt to Joseph Lasiri afterwards, which is why this bout has a lot on the line.

“After I lost to [Prajanchai], I always wanted a chance to redeem myself. Because I still believe I made a mistake too early in our last fight. I got hit too soon and that forced me to change my game plan. I really want to correct my mistakes.

“Prajanchai, let’s go all-out in the ring. We will forget that we are brothers up there. Each of us will do our best, and we will be brothers again after the fight. I’ve been waiting for this match for two years. And now, I have a chance to go against you again. I’ll give it my all,” Sam A

Elsewhere on the card, fans are eagerly anticipating the return of ONE Flyweight Kickboxing World Champion Superlek, who will compete in a Muay Thai bout against the 19-year-old talent Nabil Anane.

In addition, another highly anticipated match-up is between pound-for-pound kickboxing great Sitthichai and American Muay Thai star Eddie Abasolo.

Meanwhile, the event also features other exciting fights, including Seksan vs. Bendon and Muangthai vs. Carrillo, promising an unforgettable show.
