@ONEChampionship’s Anatoly Malykhin unified the ONE Heavyweight MMA World Title with a third-round TKO win over Arjan Bhullar at the Lumpinee Boxing Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.
In a one-sided affair, Malykhin pressed the action from the off as he pushed Bhullar onto the ropes with combinations to the body and head.
While that may have been the case, Bullar managed to hold out until the third round. But that is where his resistance ended, as Bhullar’s attempts to stay in the bout even stretched to going out of the ring.
In response, the star was reprimanded with a yellow card. Once the bout restarted after the punishment, Malykhin’s ground-pound strikes resulted in the referee stopping the fight.
And in doing so, the Russian kept his unbeaten record which stretched to 13-0. Not only that, but Malykhin maintained his 100 percent knockout rate.
The win secured Malykhin’s legacy as he became a two-division undisputed champion, having already had the ONE Light Heavyweight World Title.
Saenchai Vs. Gaiyanghadao
Prajanchai PK Saenchai defeated Sam-A Gaiyanghadao once again to win the ONE Interim Strawweight Muay Thai World Title.
It was a quick ending to a highly-anticipated fight, as Saenchai knocked out Sam-A in the second round.
The opening round was cagey, with both fighters feeling each other out with a combination of feints and kicks.
But in the second round, Saenchai landed numerous left hands, which sent SAM-A to the canvas. While SAM-A managed to beat the count, a right elbow from Saenchai finished the bout.
The victory set up a World Title unification with Strawweight Muay Thai World Champion Joseph Lasiri.
