Live from Bangkok, inside the prestigious Lumpinee Boxing Stadium, ONE Championship has delivered another installment of their Friday Fights series.
In the highly anticipated main event, Superlek and Rodtang battled for the full 3-round distance in a blood spattered 140-pound Muay Thai matchup. While Superlek emerged victorious by way of unanimous decision, this was an extremely competitive showing, in which Rodtang himself had several moments of success.
Preceding the main event, this card featured seven other Muay Thai bouts, plus two under the ruleset of MMA, and one in kickboxing.
Early in the main event, Rodtang was applying his usual forward pressure and finding success from within the clinch. Additionally, he was able to land a nasty lead left elbow that horrendously lacerated Superlek’s forehead.

Superlek battled through the damage and imposed a kick-heavy strategy on his opponent. This game plan paid off in spades, as Superlek got control of the match, then dropped Rodtang using crisp elbows and knees-up against the ropes in the second round.

In the end, Superlek was able to edge out Rodtang by a narrow margin on all three judges’ scorecards, to earn the unanimous decision following a legendary 140-pound catchweight Muay Thai battle.
