ONE Friday Fights 5: MMA And Muay Thai Results, Video Highlights: 12 Fights, 9 Finishes

ONE Championship continues to bring combat sports fans around the world action packed battles in the most popular martial arts, and this past Friday was no exception.

In the fifth event of their Friday Fights series, ONE brought together a combination of MMA and Muay Thai bouts that all contributed to another evening that will be remembered. Under the lights of the famous Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, the judges had a relaxing evening as nine matches ending in finishes, with only three going the distance.

Featured as the main event, Kongklai Annymuaythai squared off with Superball Tded99 in a catchweight Muay Thai contest at 62.5KG. With both competitors having a number of fights in the most elite stadium shows that Thailand has to offer, there was no surprise that they produced combative fireworks. The elite striking on display from both corners, which resulted in each of the fighters hitting the canvas at some point, made for an excellent way to conclude the evening.

Despite a hard fought battle from Kongklai, Superball would achieve the unanimous decision victory after the 15-minute affair, and improve his overall record to 71-19-1. Additionally, each fighter walked away with an extra $10,000 USD for their supremely exciting performance in this main event.
