Ortiz-Molina Jr Cancelled Due To Arrest

Following the announcement this week that Victor Ortiz turned himself in for three felony sexual assault charges, his fight against John Molina Jr, has been cancelled.

Ortiz was charged for three felony sexual assault charges, with one being forcible rape, in an incident that occurred on March 19th. Ortiz’ bail was set for $100,000, was set to return for his first fight since his controversial draw against Devon Alexander in 2017.

Molina will be rescheduled to a fight at a later date against an opponent to be named later.

The main event for PBC’s card at the Citizen’s Business Bank Arena in Ontario, California will be a featherweight showdown between Brandon Figueroa and Oscar Escandon and will feature Joe Joyce taking on Iago Kiladze in a heavyweight attraction.
