Oscar De La Hoya Wants To Work With Nate Diaz Now That He Is A Free Agent-‘Let Me Take Care Of Your Future’

Golden Boy Promotions founder Oscar De La Hoya wants to assist Nate Diaz in navigating the complicated process of becoming a free agent.

De La Hoya took to Twitter to offer his services to the California-based MMA fighter after Diaz completed his contract with the UFC after beating Tony Ferguson in the fourth round through submission at UFC 279.

With that being said, De La Hoya is looking to work with one of the biggest names. In a post on Twitter, the promoter said: “@NateDiaz209 bro if [you’re] free let me take care of your future negotiations so all these fake promoters who never put a glove on in their life [can’t] take advantage of you.”

This could potentially pave the way for Diaz to explore numerous ventures. His manager Zach Rosenfield has admitted that Diaz wants another crack at Conor McGregor, as well as squaring off against Canelo Alvarez.

Diaz himself has also mentioned that he may fight with Rizin, the Japanese MMA organisation, which has put on exhibitions with Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Manny Pacquiao.

And in doing so, he could potentially follow in the footsteps of former UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou, who is also being linked to the world of boxing with fights against Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua.

Whatever Nate decides to do, he has plenty of options at his disposal.
