O’Shaquie Foster Calls Out Joe Cordina – ‘Got Smoke For Ya’

WBC super featherweight champion O’Shaquie Foster has called out Joe Cordina, the present IBF champion, for a unification fight.

Cordina, who currently has a record of 16 wins and nine knockouts, recently won the IBF belt after defeating Shavkat Rakhimov via a split decision.

Following this victory, he expressed his interest in a unification fight. And now Foster has thrown down the gauntlet by entertaining such an idea.

Foster has won 10 straight fights, including beating Rey Vargas to claim the WBC title.

And the manner in which he was able to outclass Vargas showed that the American was ready to make a name in the division.

“Congratulations to Joe Cordina. Rest up then come see me. I got smoke for ya,” Foster

However, there are additional alternatives available for Cordina. There could be a significant domestic quarrel with Zelfa Barrett or a fight against WBA champion Hector Garcia.

Furthermore, the powerful WBO champion Emanuel Navarrete is also a viable option.

But given what Cordina has said previously, Foster appears to be the name on his lips.

“He’s got the WBC belt. Green is my favorite color. He’s a good a fighter,” Cordina
