Ostovich Injured In Potential Domestic Incident

UFC fighter Rachael Ostovich was attacked in her native Hawaii on Sunday in what Police are investigating as a domestic violence case.

In a story first reported by TMZ, Ostovich, who was set to face Paige VanZant on January 19th, was hospitalized following the incident for what is believed to be a broken orbital bone.

Per the report from TMZ, Ostovich was attacked by someone close to her, which has caused Honolulu police to investigate Ostovich’s injury as a domestic disturbance.


On Monday night, Ostovich’s management team “Suckerpunch Entertianment” announced that due to her injuries, Ostovich would be pulled from the January 19th event at Barclays Center.

“A very unfortunate incident occurred Sunday night with Rachael Ostovich that ended with her suffering a fractured orbital and other injuries,” the statement read. … “Rachael is now home from the hospital with family and will be going back for further check ups on her orbital. The family would like to ask for some privacy as they sort through this matter. We would like to thank the UFC for all their support on this matter as well as the fans and media for your concern.”
