Otto Wallin Believes That The Best Is Yet To Come From Him
There is no argument that there is no other boxer who enjoys being in the spotlight other than Otto Wallin (23-1, 14 KOs).
The WBC No.11 says that he is looking forward to taking on Rydell Booker in his upcoming fight.
Wallin is taking this fight as seriously as any other fight that he has participated in, he said. After all, a few more wins would put him on the brink of securing the world championship fight.
The Swede will take on hometown veteran Booker in the 10-round main event of Salita Promotions’ Detroit Brawl event on May 26. The fight will take place at the Lincoln Ballroom of the Ford Community and Performing Arts Center in Dearborn.
“When I come to the ring, I feel like I can compete against anybody. I always have the feeling that I have done all I can to be in this position, which gives me confidence going into the fights. I am physically and mentally ready 100% before every fight in which I participate,” Wallin explained.
“Even though the fight doesn’t have the magnitude that I had hoped for, it feels great that I am healthy and competing again. I need to have the habit of being in the ring consistently, which would give me the belief going into the bigger fights,” Wallin concluded.
