When asked if the 11-year age gap would be an issue for the 40-year old Pacquiao, he told reporter’s that : “Forty is the beginning of life.”

“When I train, I push myself to the limit. And when you age, it’s harder for your body to recover,” he told reporters.

“I’m just giving my body more time to rest,” he said of arriving to the States earlier than usual to finish his training with Freddie Roach.
