Pacquiao Celebrates 40th Birthday

As Manny Pacquiao turns 40, the current WBA “regular” welterweight champion feels he is “stronger and faster” than ever.

Celebrating his 40th birthday, Pacquiao held a raffle and a massive celebration near his home in General Santo City.

“I feel stronger and faster, and by God’s grace I am wiser at 40, feeling 25,” Pacquiao said as he prepares to face Adrien Broner on January 19th.

“I believe the best is yet to come. You have not yet seen the best of Manny Pacquiao.”

Pacquiao begins his 24th year of professional boxing against Broner, in his first fight in America since 2016.

“Boxing is my passion and public service is my mission,” Pacquiao told reporters while holding a raffle to give away Trucks, home appliances, and other goods at an event attended by thousands of supporters.

“We are so thankful. He never forgets to help us, his poor constituents,” said Sarah Bagas, a middle-aged street sweeper who lined up for her raffle ticket and food stub for the massive event.
