Manny Pacquiao has revealed that he would be interested in training Naoya Inoue.
The Japanese created history by becoming a four-division champion, as he stopped Stephen Fulton in the eighth round to pick up his WBO and WBC belts in the super-bantamweight division.
Thereafter, the comparisons between Inoue and Pacquiao began to emerge. Pacquiao moved up from 106 pounds compared to 108 pounds for Inoue.
And both fighters still carried their power and explosiveness as they went up. In the aftermath of Inoue’s victory over Fulton, Manny praised the boxer.
Inoue has great speed and lots of power behind his punches. He’s a special fighter! #InoueFulton

In addition to this, Pacquiao’s former trainer Freddie Roach also expressed his wish to see the Japanese face Manny.
“I would like to see it. I think Pacquiao could still get ready for that. He’d have to move up a little bit, 135,” Roach
And now Pacman has offered to help the star. After all, Pacquiao is one of the best of all time having been an eight-division champion. And that knowledge could prove vital moving forward.
“I like Naoya. Before he became [multi-weight champion] I teach him in Japan. Naoya, he’s thinking of moving up in weight divisions. I hope I can teach him and supervise his workout and training.
“I want to train him and supervise his training if he wants to move up to higher weight divisions,” Manny
