Pacquiao Launches Relief Effort After Earthquake Strikes Hometown

Manny Pacquiao (62-8-2, 39 KOs) is spearheading a fundraising drive for his hometown of General Santos City in the Philippines after an earthquake caused widespread destruction in the region.

Over 35,000 residents have been displaced, with extensive damage reported across the area. Pacquiao has called on boxing fans around the world to contribute, pledging to use the funds to “provide immediate and long-term assistance to those affected by the earthquake.” Manny revealed how the incident has impacted the region deeply: “Today, my heart is heavy. General Santos City – my hometown, the place that shaped my life – has been deeply affected by a devastating earthquake.”
