Pacquiao To Sign With Haymon/PBC
With his relationship with Bob Arum done, Manny Pacquiao has decided to move on and sign with Premier Boxing Champions creator Al Haymon.
Haymon, who has been Floyd Mayweather’s chief adviser, has a massive stable of talent under his PBC umbrella and could be the linchpin for a Mayweather-Pacquiao showdown later next year.
The first step according to a report from World Boxing News is a January showdown against Adrien Broner at a site to be selected.
“There are many options where we can hold that fight,” a source told WBN on Thursday, with the United States as the leading favorite.
Pacquiao had been with Top Rank for the majority of his pro career, but the relationship turned sour following Pacquiao’s loss to Jeff Horn in 2017, leading to Pacquiao promoting his first fight on his own earlier this year against Lucas Matthysse.
