Pacquiao’s Team Expect Success In Kuala Lumpur

As it gets closer to fight night, preparations are under the way for Manny Pacquiao’s return to the ring against Lucas Matthysse in Kuala Lumpur.

In a recent meeting between Pacquiao advisers Michael Koncz and Joe Ramos have met with Top Rank CEO Bob Arum last week, as Top Rank will be the exclusive Pay Per View rights for the United States and Top Rank COO Brand Jacobs is tasked with producing the fight and operating ticket sales.

In regards to Matthysse demanding for his purse to be put into escrow, Koncz said that its not a  big deal.  “Its in the contract,” Koncz claimed to the Phil Star this week.“Of course, we’ll put his entire purse in escrow and that’s getting done.”

In addition to Top Rank staging the fight on pay per view, Pacquiao’s attempt to become WBA welterweight champion will also be seen across the Philippines on all three of the nation’s major TV networks in a simulcast.
