Paddy Pimblett Names Manchester City Star He Wants To Fight
Pimblett names another person he wants to tussle with.
UFC starlet Paddy Pimblett comes in peace once he’s outside the octagon. He is known as Mr Nice Guy for his interaction with fans as well.
But when it comes to soccer, Pimblett, who is also a hardcore Liverpool supporter, is irked with the Manchester City and Portugal star, Bernardo Silva.
“Last season, when he first got signed, it was Bruno Fernandes, ’cause of how overrated he was,” Pimblett said while speaking on Pub Talk with former soccer players Alan Brazil and Ray Parlour.
“But now, it’s Bernardo Silva, lad. I don’t know anyone who likes Bernardo Silva, lad. He’s an unbelievable footballer. He’s a proper baller. But he’s a horrible wrong’un. He’s a piece of sh*t. That time when they gave us (Liverpool) a guard of honour, and he just stood there. Come on lad.”
Both Fernandes and Silva are big names that feature in the Premier League for Manchester United and City, respectively. They’re both in Qatar, representing Portugal.
Pimblett was referring to the club’s triumph at the 2019 UEFA Champions League which the side won 2-0 against Premier League competitors Tottenham Hotspur.
The UFC star is 3-0 since joining the organization. His last victory was a submission win over Luigi Vendramini in front of home fans in London.
