Paddy Pimblett’s Octagon Return Set For UFC 329 In July

Following a tough loss to Justin Gaethje earlier this year, Paddy Pimblett will look to bounce back in his confirmed match with Benoit Saint-Denis on July 11th.

Pimblett fell short on the judges’ scorecards following an absolute slugfest with ‘The Highlight’ back at UFC 324, failing to get his hands on the interim lightweight title in the process. With the victory, Gaethje proceeded to secure the date of June 14th to challenge division king Ilia Topuria on the South Lawn of the White House for UFC Freedom 250.

The whole situation surrounding the interim title match between Gaethje and Pimblett left fans unclear on what would be next for the Englishman. But multiple sources have now confirmed that his rumored match with Saint-Denis is confirmed for UFC 329 on July 11th. Saint-Denis is currently riding a four-fight win streak following his 2024 loss to Renato Moicano, with hist most recent victory coming by TKO over Dan Hooker.

UFC 329 will take place during International Fight Week 2026 in Las Vegas and is expected to see additional bout announcements in the coming weeks. This could potentially include the rumored return of Conor McGregor, as it was reported back in March that he is aiming to book a fight with the UFC this summer.
