Paige VanZant Announces Her Return With An Upcoming Boxing Bout

Paige VanZant has announced her return to combat sports after around three years out of action.

VanZant has not fought since 2021, when she took on Rachel Ostovich at BKFC 19. Unfortunately, that ended in a defeat. Her UFC record also suffered in the latter part before her sabbatical, suffering three losses in her last four fights. VanZant also made her professional wrestling debut for AEW in 2022 as she pursued an OnlyFans career.  But after some time away from combat sports, VanZant is ready for her comeback with a boxing bout.

“I got offered a fight, a boxing match – and I took it. I accepted a boxing match. That will be my next fight. It will be really, really exciting for everyone. Gloves on. This is straight boxing. I did think my next fight would be a bareknuckle boxing match, but this opportunity came forward and I was like, ‘Yeah, f**k it, let’s go.’ So I took a fight. We’re really excited,” VanZant said

VanZant has yet to confirm her opponent, but it is important to note she still has a deal with BFKC. She signed a four-fight deal with the organization in 2020. She has fought two times, losing to Ostrovich and Britain Hart. While that agreement is in place, BKFC has allowed her to pursue other ventures, leaving a potential return to bareknuckle at some point. But before she considers that, VanZant must come through her next bout.
