Paige VanZant Out Of BKFC London Card With Charisa Sigala Fight Rescheduled

Paige VanZant will reportedly not be taking part in the upcoming BKFC London scheduled for August 20. According to the rumors, VanZant’s bout against Charisa Sigala has been indefinitely postponed with a rescheduled date set to be announced later.

Until now, there has been no comment from either party about why the changes were made. Before these changes were made, VanZant was set to compete in her third fight for the bare-knuckle promotion. Recently, she penned a contract with BKFC after her exit from UFC.

Until now, the American boxer has a 0-2 record with close defeats against Britain Hart and Rachael Ostovich. The fight against Sigala would be the last of her contract with BKFC.

“I never thought I would sign with BKFC,” VanZant said on The Fighter vs. The Writer. “Bare-knuckle boxing, I never even knew they were on the table so I don’t know what’s going to come up and out of the woodwork while I’m a free agent again.

“I don’t see this being my last bare-knuckle boxing match. I love fighting for them. I like BKFC a lot. I think I want to continue having a future with them forever. I really don’t see this being my last one.”
