Paige VanZant Poses For SI Swimsuit Issue

Even with a broken arm, Paige VanZant’s profile continues to rise, as she joins current WWE women’s champion Ronda Rousey, as the only UFC athletes to pose for the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue.

The 24-year old, who is recovering from a third fracture to her right arm, announced via Instagram that she will be in the 55th annual issue that hits newsstands in May.

“We are here in Puerto Vallarta in one of the smallest suits of the day. I am having to get a little more comfortable in front of this whole crew,” VanZant said in the video.

In-regards to joining the long list of famous athletes and models to grace the issue, VanZant said:

“I feel like when you’re in Sports Illustrated that means you’ve made it, so that’s a really big deal and I’m mostly excited for people to see this side of me… I think people mostly do forget, yes I’m a professional fighter and my hair is in cornrows all the time, I punch people in the face for a living, but you can look really cute too.”
