Pat Miletich Released From LFA For Attending Capitol Hill Protest
Pat Miletich is out as the LFA color commentator.
Miletich is a former UFC Welterweight Champion and Hall of Famer. While he is renowned for being a pioneer in MMA and has been praised for his commentary, Miletich has come under fire for his political views. It all came to a head when it was revealed that the former fighter attended the Capitol Hill protest, where a group of rioters was also present.

Miletich has insisted that he did not take part in any of the violent acts that occurred on Capitol Hill. Still, his claims have not prevented the LFA from taking action.
Taking to his Instagram account, Miletich revealed that he has been fired from the commentary gig at LFA (h/t BJPenn.com).

“I just got a call from the folks at the LFA, and they basically informed me that they were getting a lot of pressure because I was at the Capitol. I want you guys to know that the people that I walked with at the Capitol, none of them—that I know of—were involved in any of the violence. I walked with white people, black people, a lot of Chinese people who escaped communist China, who are ‘for freedom’ … It was across the board people of different races, religions…
“But the LFA was getting a lot of pressure and unfortunately that they felt that they needed to distance themselves from me. I understand their position.”
