Patricio Pitbull Goes In On Michael Chandler For Dustin Poirier Remarks
Patricio “Pitbull” Freire, former three-time Bellator champion, did not second Michael Chandler when the one-time UFC title challenger criticized Dustin Poirier for tapping out against lightweight champion Charles Oliveira at UFC 269.
In the third round of the main event, Olivieira submitted Poirier via rear-naked choke. Poirier did not tap out instantly, but after a few seconds of having Do Bronx on his back and bearing his wait on his legs.
Poirier was shattered in the post-fight press conference after being denied the lightweight crown for the second time. Khabib Nurmagomedov submitted the Diamond in a title showdown last year.
Chandler, who has got knocked out by Do Bronx at UFC 262, claimed that he would have chosen to lose his consciousness than tap.
However, the Pitbull did not have any of his former colleague’s tweets.
“You turned your back to Charles and run away after being clipped. You quit against Gaethje. Also let’s not forget you asked Will Brooks for a time out. Shut your damn mouth, you’ve been pathetic,” the 34-year-old responded to Chandler’s tweet.

Chandler has lost two of three fights since making his UFC debut early this year. After beating Dan Hooker via technical knockout in the first round, he went on to lose to Oliviera and Justin Gaethje.
