Patricio Pitbull Vs. Adam Borics And A.J. McKee’s Lightweight Debut Set For Bellator 286
Patricio Pitbull, Adam Borics, and A.J. McKee have all been added to Bellator 286 in October.
Mckee captured the Bellator featherweight title after earning a first round submission victory against Pitbull back at Bellator 263 in July 2021. However, the Brazilian re-captured his title by unanimous decision during their rematch in April of this year.
Bellator president Scott Coker revealed a third fight was likely on tap, although it now seems the promotion is now going in a different direction.
The main event of Bellator 286 in October will see Patricio Pitbull defend his featherweight title against Adam Borics. ‘The Kid’ is currently on a four-fight winning streak. This would be his first shot at the gold. He was last seen in March, when he earned a unanimous decision victory over Mads Burnell.
A.J. McKee will also be at the event in October, as the fighter will face UFC veteran Spike Carlyle on the undercard. The bout will be the 27-year-old’s lightweight debut.
Carlyle is currently riding a four-fight winning streak. He was last in action in April at RIZIN 35, where he defeated Koji Takeda via submission.
