Patricio Pitbull’s Second UFC Fight Set For July 19

Former 3-division Bellator featherweight champion Patricio Pitbull will look to rebound from his lopsided unanimous decision loss in his Octagon debut to Yair Rodriguez when he makes his second UFC appearance on July 19th against number 14-ranked featherweight Dan Ige on July 19th on the Max Holloway vs Dustin Poirier undercard.

Pitbull recently left the PFL to sign with the UFC, as he made his debut at UFC 314, losing a unanimous decision to Yair Rodriguez. The defeat was a major setback to his title shot hopes, while it was his first loss at featherweight since 2021. Prior to that, Pitbull had dominated in Bellator, capturing titles at 145 and 155 pounds. This included securing wins over Michael Chandler, AJ McKee, and Juan Archuleta. Meanwhile, Ige arrives into the bout with a third-round stoppage win over Sean Woodson at UFC 314. The win ended his two-fight losing streak, as he seeks a scalp against a big name.
