Logan Paul’s time in the sweet science may come to an end after his November 9th fight with fellow YouTuber KSI, but that does not mean he won’t return to combat sports.
“I’d like to do MMA after this,” Paul said during a media workout. “I’m obsessed. In an ideal world, I’d like to be the most viewed prized fighter in the world. I want to be the best exhibition fighter in the world. I want to fight in big bouts and entertain the sh-t out of people and beat the sh-t out of people standing across me.”
He’s not the only Paul brother to have an interest in MMA, as his brother Jake has been in an internet rivalry with Bellator fighter Dillon Danis, as Paul claims to have had a sexual relationship with Danis’ girlfriend.
In regards to Logan’s fight inside Staples Center, the Ohio born vlogger is excited to work with Eddie Hearn on the promotion of this fight.
“It’s a dream come true to be working with [Matchroom head] Eddie Hearn,” said Paul. “He’s a boxing legend right here. Last year, I watched him wanting to say something nice about our fight, and here we are now working together.”
“I tried not to like [the first fight],” Hearn told reporters, making sure to buoy the card with top prospect Devin Haney and a WBO super middleweight title defense by Billy Joe Saunders.
“I’ve been boxing for the last two years,” Paul said.
“This is not a gimmick anymore. I’m no longer a YouTuber right now. I’m a f***ing professional fighter, and I’m going to treat it like that. I’ve been training. I’m taking this s**t seriously.”
