Paul Looks To Dispute KSI Decision
Two weeks ago Logan Paul lost the first fight of his professional boxing career to KSI, in a battle of social media stars.
Now, Paul looks for vengeance for the split-decision loss inside Staples Center, by disputing the decision with the California State Athletic Commission.
The issue Paul has was two points being taken away during the fourth round for hitting and holding KSI and then striking KSI while he was down.
It led to judges scoring the bout 57-54 and 56-55 for KSI, and 56-55 to Paul, which would have given Paul the victory with the two points.
“We just don’t believe the outcome was right,” Logan Paul said on his YouTube channel. “By no means am I afraid of losing, but I truthfully 100 percent believe I did not lose the fight.
“This is a plea to the California State Athletic Commission, and I hope they give this the weight it deserves because I fear that since we aren’t real professional fighters that this may be overlooked.”
“Regardless of the decision I’ll be back in the ring boxing,” Paul said.
