Jake Paul’s boxing bout against Nate Diaz became the second-most-betted bout in the DraftKings Sportsbook, only second to Gervonta Davis vs Ryan Garcia’s fight.
The ‘Problem Child’ managed to get one over Nate Diaz via a unanimous-decision win.
The win maintained Paul’s undefeated record against MMA fighters which includes two wins over Tyron Woodley and victories against Anderson Silva, Ben Askren and, of course, Diaz.
However, in truth, both fighters struggled to put on a competitive fight, as they failed to exert dominance.
The only moment of major success came in the fifth round when Paul caught Diaz with a left hook that sent him to the canvas.
But given that both fighters are not the most accomplished boxers, the odds may have attracted people to put on huge bets.
Jake Paul-Nate Diaz was the second-most heavily bet boxing match (most bets and money) in the history of @DKSportsbook (behind only Davis-Garcia April 2023).
Paul-Diaz attracted more than 2x as many bets as the entire six-fight card of Saturday's UFC 291 at @BetMGM sportsbooks.

Nevertheless, the outcome went as it was expected. Diaz failed to pull off a shock, but he did manage to go the distance on his boxing debut.
While the pair may run things back in MMA, Diaz’s efforts did not go unnoticed.
