When you get two New Yorkers on the phone, it usually comes down to two things, politics or sports. With Michael Rapaport and Paulie Malignaggi, they immediately go into Malignaggi’s campaign against Conor McGregor and his camp. The media blitz by Malignaggi is over the leak of photos showing the Brooklyn born boxer on the canvas with McGregor standing over him, and Malignaggi contending that he was pushed down by the UFC champion and not knocked down by a fist.
And while Tiernan Bradley, who was in Malignaggi’s corner that evening contends it was McGregor who landed a punch and not a shove to send the former two time world champion down, Malignaggi continues to battle against that and any allegations.
