Payton Talbott Recalls Being Thrown Out Of UFC 303 Venue

Payton Talbott was thrown out of the T-Mobile Arena after knocking out Yanis Ghemmouri at UFC 300 after just 20 seconds.

That was Talbott’s fourth win in a row, as he remains undefeated in the UFC. Previously, the UFC has allowed fighters to use their VIP rooms after their fights. This was to ensure they could fuel up with food and enjoy the other fights. However, this privilege is no longer there, meaning Talbott was escorted out of the venue. The same happened to UFC light heavyweight Johnny Walker at UFC 279. He was escorted out of the T-Mobile Arena after beating Ion Cutelaba while still wearing his fight gear. Talbott recalled his own incident.

“They got rid of it with COVID. … As soon as you’re done with your media, you’re out. No [I didn’t get to shower]… No I didn’t even know there were showers there… I went back to the Airbnb, streamed the rest of the fights and then we went and saw Cascade [a DJ],” Talbott said
