Periera Drops Belgaroui To Retain At GLORY 55

FIGHT SPORTS has the results for the action from the Hulu Theater From Madison Square Garden!

The third chapter of the feud between Alex Periera and Yousri Belgaroui would not take up much page space, as Periera would drop a thunderous blow to Belgaroui to retain at GLORY 55.

Periera would take an intial attack from Belaroui in-stride, waiting for the opportunity to strike and drop his rival. One hugeright hand would check the chin of the challenger, but stop Belgaroui in their second straight confrontation.

In the evening’s co-main event, the man originally set to face Robin Van Roosmalen at GLORY 55, Petch Kiatmookao, remains next in line to become featherweight champion, defeating Kevin VanNostrand to become interim featherweight champion.

VanNostrand, who previously became interim featherweight champion in December at the same building, would be stymied by Kiatmookao throughout the fight, even with the now interim featherweight champion being deducted two points during the fight.
