Petrosyan to Make Bellator Kickboxing Debut
Giorgio Petrosyan will be making his Bellator Kickboxing debut at home in Italy in what is sure to be a night of fireworks. Nicknamed "The Doctor" and noted for his supreme technical skills, surgical precision and defensive prowess which has seen him defeat some of the best strikers in the world while taking little-to-no damage. Petrosyan has made his rounds across various kickboxing and muay thai promotions such as K-1 and Glory has finally landed in the Bellator Kickboxing family. The "Doctor" has fought to a 82-2 record dispatching some of the world’s best along the way.
Bellator Kickboxing has not yet announced Petrosyan’s opponent but he is sure to put on a technical clinic December 10 in Florence, Italy. Petrosyan’s last fight was a K-1 MUAY THAI fight with WGP champion Ravy Brunow who he beat by unanimous decision on April 16, 2016 in Torino, Italy.
The Mandela Forum in Florence, Italy will host a duel event with both Bellator MMA and Bellator Kickboxing brands, taking place on Dec. 10. Both events will air on SPIKE, broadcast details will be revealed at a later date.
