PFL fans can now get trading cards of MMA fighters
The Professional Fighters League fans (PFL) can get their hands on several collectables of their favorite MMA fighters after the promotion signed a deal with Upper Deck.
The multi-year agreement for the licensed collectables will feature trading cards of big names in the PFL such as Kayla Harrison, Anthony Pettis, Rory MacDonald and others.
The PFL management is doing everything in its domain to boom the organization’s popularity. Founded in 2017, the PFL has already become one of the most-watched MMA promotions, courtesy of the top marketing strategies of the league’s management.
In a press release, the PFL has revealed that MMA fans can buy PFL cards through Upper Deck’s e-Pack platform from June 18 at 9 am PDT.
The first card will celebrate boxing legend Clarissa Shield’s victory on MMA debut that took place on June 10th. It will also be part of Upper Deck’s Game Dated Moments Program that will help fans purchase exclusive cards of top highlights.
By the moves of the PFL CEO, it seems like Peter Murray and co will make hay of the Clarissa Shield scenario and market the boxing veteran entrance into an octagon, at best.
A few big names from the UFC and ONE Championship have also become part of the PFL to add to the league’s global popularity.
