Kayla Harrison Earns First-Round Submission, Inches Closer To Another PFL Championship

Kayla Harrison extends winning streak to 15.

Harrison earned a first-round submission victory against Martina Jindrovã via arm triangle choke just over a three minutes into the first round. With the win, she moves closer to her third PFL championship.

“I’m here to tell you that I am the queen — not of the PFL, not of the 155-pound division — but I am the queen of women’s MMA,” Harrison said.

“And if those three Brazilians would take off their track shoes and meet me, then you’d find out.”

Those three Brazilians are most likely Amanda Nunes and Cris Cyborg.

In the featherweight bout, English fighter Brendan Loughnane and Chris Wade went head-to-head.

Loughnane was considered a huge underdog in this fight, but he managed to win the fight without any question marks.

Bubba Jenkins left no chances for Ryoji Kudo. In the very first round, he made two takedowns; after that, he tried judo throw, took the back of a Japanese fighter and finished the fight via rear-naked choke in under two minutes.
