PFL Season 2 Championship Finals Results
After a brutal schedule in which many fighters fought 4+ times, the time has finally arrived. The PFL Finals will determine who the best in their weight class is and who will walk out of the cage $1 million richer. Taking place inside Madison Square Garden’s Hulu Theater, the Professional Fighter’s League will look to start and end New Year’s Eve with a bang.
The main event will feature Kayla Harrison facing Larissa Pacheco in the finals of the Women’s Lightweight tournament. Harrison (6-0) faced Pacheco (13-3) in the opening round of the PFL’s second season in May, beating her via unanimous decision. Pacheco is looking to prove she is the real deal following her unanimous decision win over favorite Sarah Kaufman in the semifinals back in October.
The co-main event will feature Ray Cooper III against David Michaud in the finals of the Men’s Welterweight tournament. Cooper is looking to avenge the loss he took against Magomed Magomedkerimov in last year’s finals. There are only two winners from last season in the finals; Lightweight Champion Natan Schulte facing Loik Radzhabov and Featherweight Champion Lance Palmer facing Alex Gilpin.
FIGHT SPORTS will be providing live coverage of the PFL Finals:
