Philipe Lins Ready For Sophomore UFC Fight Against Tanner Boser On June 27

After spending time away from MMA due to injury, Philipe Lins is not wasting any opportunities that come his way. According to Combate, Lins is set to return to action on June 27. His opponent will be Tanner Boser.

Winner of the 2018 PFL Heavyweight tournament, Lins (14-4) was unable to participate in season two last year due to an injury. The Bellator veteran made his UFC debut a few weeks ago (May 13) in Jacksonville, Florida. “Monstro” lost to Andrei Arlovski via unanimous decision in a bout that escaped him in the later rounds.

The 34-year-old faces the 28-year-old Boser. From Alberta, Canada, Boser (17-6-1) is 2-1-1 in his last four fights. He made his UFC debut in October, beating Daniel Spitz via unanimous decision. His last fight was in December, losing to Ciryl Gane via unanimous decision.

The UFC event on June 27 does not have a set location yet. It is expected to be held inside the UFC’s APEX Center in Nevada. “Fight Island” is also a possibility.
