PIC: Jon Jones Looks JACKED For UFC Heavyweight Move
Former UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Jon Jones has been bulking up for a move to heavyweight.
Jones last competed in February 2020. He successfully defended the 205-pound gold against Dominick Reyes, winning via unanimous decision. “Bones” eventually vacated the gold as he felt his legacy would be stagnant if he remained at light heavyweight.
Many have wondered how Jones would handle the transition to heavyweight. While he’s always been physically gifted, he’s never competed as a heavyweight at an elite level. At the very least, his appearance certainly hasn’t suffered.
Taking to his Twitter account, “Bones” posted images of his progress thus far.

The current UFC Heavyweight Champion is Stipe Miocic. It’s expected that Miocic will put his gold on the line against Stipe Miocic in a rematch. The bout could take place in either March or April according to various reports.
Miocic recently bested Jones’ rival, Daniel Cormier, in a trilogy fight. It was the last bout of Cormier’s pro MMA career. That bout took place back in August 2020. Miocic has been out of action since but he isn’t expected to be sidelined for a full year this time.
