Pico Eyeing Bellator 238 Return

After a shocking knockout loss this past June inside Madison Square Garden, Aaron Pico is looking for a return and redemption this January.

Pico, who is on a three-fight losing streak has verbally agreed to face off against Daniel Carey on January 25th inside The Forum in Inglewood, California at Bellator 238.

Initially reported by ESPN, this fight will mark the 23-year-old’s first fight since a second-round TKO loss to Adam Borics, which mars a losing streak that came after four straight wins for the highly touted prospect, all by first-round stoppage.

Carey has won four of his last five fights, including a first-round submission of prospect Gaston Bolaños in September.

If confirmed Pico and Carey join the Bellator women’s featherweight title fight between champion Julia Budd and former UFC champion Cris Cyborg, who is making her Bellator debut.
