Pico Returns To MSG At Bellator 222

Boxer turned Mixed Martial Artist, Aaron Pico returns to the site of his first time in the Bellator cage, as he’s been given an opponent for Bellator 222.

Pico will square off against Adam Borics at the event on June 14th inside Madison Square Garden per a report from ESPN, looking to bounce back to a first-round KO from Henry Corrales at Bellator 214.

The loss to Corrales stopped a four fight winning streak for Pico, all of which by first-round knockout. Pico’s streak was book ended by the knockout by Corrales and falling to Zach Freeman in 24 seconds in his pro MMA debut.

The 22-year-old Pico faces an undefeated Borics who has his own three-fight finish streak since signing with the Viacom owned brand.

Bellator 222 currently features a light heavyweight main event between Chael Sonnen and Lyoto Machida, as well as a Bellator welterweight world grand prix semifinal between Rory MacDonald defending his title against Neiman Gracie.
