Pimblett’s Attempt To Troll Topuria Backfires

Paddy Pimblett’s latest attempt to mock Ilia Topuria has blown up in his face after the woman who actually purchased the infamous corner stool went public to expose his claim as false.

Following Topuria’s TKO loss to Justin Gaethje at UFC Freedom 250, the UFC auctioned off the stool on which Topuria’s corner stopped the fight, with bidding reaching $13,700. Pimblett posted a photo on Instagram appearing to hold the stool, implying he had bought it specifically to rub Topuria’s corner stoppage in his face.

The stunt unravelled when a woman named Jessica came forward through Home of Fight’s Ahmad Dakka to confirm she was the actual buyer — and that her motivation was precisely to prevent Pimblett from getting his hands on it: “I kind of purchased it on purpose so that Paddy and nobody else could actually buy it and use it against him, but here we are.”
