Plant Dominates Feigenbutz, Eyes Benavidez Bout
With as many wins via knockout as he had, one would think Vincent Feigenbutz would be a tough challenge for Caleb Plant. The IBF Super-Middleweight Champion, in his home area of Nashville, Tennessee, dismissed that theory, and with ease. Plant beat Feigenbutz via TKO in the 10th round inside the Bridgestone Arena to retain his title.
It was a dominant performance by Plant (20-0), who outpointed his opponent the entire fight. In the first few rounds, Plant started off hot with up and down jabs to the body and face of Feigenbutz (31-3). By the end of the second, Plant had outlanded his opponent in shots, 21-4.

Rounds three through five saw the same results. Plant continued to land combination hooks and uppercuts. While Feigenbutz tried to start some form of a comeback, Plant was striking the entire time. Round six saw Feigenbutz call Plant out to come after him, which was odd considering the overall scores of the fight.
Feigenbutz did hit some clear shots to the face of Plant, but he did not show the same power he has displayed when he knocked out 28 other men prior to this fight. Plant and Feigenbutz traded shots in the eighth and then Plant went off in the ninth. With blood pouring out of Vincent’s nose, Plant continued with the attack. Plant then hit combination shots, and before any further damage was done, the referee called off the fight.

It was Plant’s 11th win via KO in his second defense of the IBF Super-Middleweight Title. It was a one-sided bout on all fronts, as Plant landed 152 of 381 shots while Feigenbutz landed 19 out of 87 thrown shots.
After the bout, Plant dedicated the win to his late mother and daughter. He also called out David Benavidez, the WBC Super-Middleweight Champion, for a unification bout.

The Nashville crowd cheered for Plant the entire bout, and gave him a standing ovation following the fight.
In the co-main event, Abel Ramos defeated Bryant Perrella with one second left into the fight. Perrella, who wore a suit to the ring, was dominating the entire bout, until two knockdowns secured Ramos the win.
